Network integration for stock devices

Stock devices with a serial connection are easily integrated into wired and wireless local networks. INSYS WLAN serial and INSYS Ethernet transport the serial data in IP packets via modern networks.

As the remote terminal on the PC, the free-of-charge virtual COM port driver unpacks the data for the application software. Addressing via the network is done either by dialup command (as in the case of a modem) or permanently. The states of the digital inputs are also sent to the outputs on the remote terminal.
